Gretchen Culver, Rocket Science Events

Although she didn't realize it at the time, Gretchen’s desire to run her own business started at a young age with her summer lemonade stands. After college, a lemonade stand didn’t seem to be the best way to pay back her student loans, so she entered the world of weddings working for a catering company. She quickly fell in love with weddings and has been doing social events ever since. Over the past 14 years she has worked in almost every area of the industry and now she is the owner and creative director of Rocket Science Events in Minneapolis, MN. She launched her event planning company in 2010, hoping to revolutionize weddings. She must be doing something right, having been named one of the "30 under 40 to watch" by Special Events magazine and one of Martha Stewart’s Top Planners. Her work has won international awards and been featured in magazines, online and on TV. When she isn’t working she enjoys eating good food, Netflix and chilling with her husband, and playing with her three kids.

Amy Fuerstenberg and Amy Steil, Mi Mi Design

Amy Fuerstenberg (Amy Red) and Amy Steil (Amy Blonde) first met in Mrs. Flesberg’s kindergarten class. As fierce competitors in the weekly coloring contest, they had no idea their creative talents would someday unite.

Fast forward 12 years later and the Amys are back together again at the University of Minnesota. Blondie pursuing her graphic design degree and Red her business management degree. Upon graduation, Amy Blonde heads the custom invitation department at Paper Source and Amy Red continues her education in interior design.

After collaborating on numerous events for family and friends, Amy and Amy realize they have a knack for creating innovative wedding details and a keen sense on how successful events should flow. Wanting nothing more than to work for themselves and for an industry that demands creative talent, Amy and Amy start Mi Mi Design in June, 2003.

More than a decade later, they are proud to still be doing what they love: orchestrating beautiful and unique events. Though the business has grown greatly, their commitment to giving personal attention to each client remains the same.

Todd Pinzuti, Bungalow 6 Design and Events

With a background in Visual Merchandising, Photo Styling,as well as Product Development and Design I have 18 years experience designing and executing events. In 2002 Bungalow & Design was established. At that time it functioned solely as an event décor company. Slowly, I added more creative consulting options making it the full service creative company it Is now. As a designer it’s my job is to deliver details. I strive to bring unique ideas to the table and try never to repeat the same thing twice. B6D is known for its polish and for delivering fully realized ideas and event concepts. I believe that collaboration Is the most successful way to stay current and stretch one’s imagination. I take great pride in  working with the best this industry has to offer and like to share the spotlight with as many creative people as any one given project will allow.
